The Story Behind Ìtùnú Co.
Ìtùnú is a Yorùbá noun which means Comfort, Consolation, and/or Relief. Ìtùnú Co. is a company founded by Victoria Songonuga, Licensed therapist and currently serving as a Counseling Practice; Ìtùnú Wellness
The aim and purpose of Ìtùnú Wellness is to provide comfort through mental health counseling, comfort-friendly products, and culturally relevant conversations.
Victoria received the name Ìtùnú by her Maternal Grandmother, at birth, as her birth signified comfort and consolation to the family, due to the recent death of her Maternal Grandfather.
In the Yorùbá land, there's a famous saying about names which states that "Orúkọ rere sàn ju wúrà àti fàdákà lọ" which means "A good name is more precious than silver and gold"
